I’ve not made a single post for how many days? One, two, three, four, I don’t exactly remember. In those days, I’d been busy writing an article for my other blog which basically just anything about the Filipino world. You see I own the blogosphere.com.ph domain and hopefully, I will forever. And in those days too, I’ve been finding out why none of my blogs are showing up in Google search results. There are some links that are appearing but they don’t get directly to the sites themselves; they are just syndicated content from my sites. I’m still lucky that I knew how to take advantage of social bookmarking.
I went to the Google Webmasters site and figured out why, why, why? I just realized that all my domains are under one folder which is public_html which is the root folder of my one particular domain. Continue Reading..

There’s esnips. And there’s imeem. They do provide 100% free mp3 streaming. Streaming. Period. But will they allow you to download the audio files for free? Yes and no. While some files can be downloaded, they are just “some” and not “most” neither “all.” With esnips, the only time that an audio file can be downloaded is if the file owner enable it for public download. Take note, it’s the file. So setting a file folder or directory for public download is equivalent to just public streaming although the actual download happens somewhere in your computer (I’ll mention more about this later). So now the big question is: How do I get those for absolutely 100% free? Continue Reading..

To be exact, I’ve been a call center agent for a year and 15 days and…oops, just never mind the hours and seconds if you still want to keep your sanity. The last time I was able to be on my slumber the whole night time was almost a year ago because even if it is my RD (short for rest day) I’m still a vampire. Anyway, here are just the few things I got being a call center agent:

- big amount of Php with also big tax deduction
- bonuses which still have tax deduction
- 13th month pay (thank God, it’s non-taxable)
- snore deprivation (i badly need some Zzzzz’s here)
- sore throat
- health insurance
- life insurance (if I were dead then that’s the only time that I could fully benefit from it…or could really I?)
- irate callers who don’t even know what a wallpaper is
- supervisory calls (callers don’t trust me; my supervisor will just tell them the same thing though)
- free cups of coffee. as in FREE.
- daily dose of outlook spams. these are good ones though.
- you get to talk to people from big time companies (SonyEricsson, Disney, etc.)
And I still have a lot to add to the above list but sorry because my mind is floating somewhere else. I badly need some zzzz’s.
P. S.: Did I mention for what that picture is? Decoration.

First of all, let me clarify that I am not a girl. I’m a man trapped inside a man’s body although the picture your seeing in this post is of a woman.
Let’s go straight to the point. I’d like to express my gratitude to DedeAndro for giving me this J’Adore Tien Blog award. And to stop your nose from bleeding, the french to english translation of that is I Love Your Blog (just correct DedeAndro if he’s wrong). Well, thanks for loving my blog. I do hope you people out there also feel the same. If you do, just keep the feeling and someday I’ll share with you my joy of this is blog being on the top. Cheers.

This is something I wrote in 2006. This is fictional but I somehow based it on something. I’m not sure what that is and I don’t want to wring my brain in search of the answer. This was posted before in my Friendster blog. I just hope google won’t be penalizing me for duplicated content. But anyway, If you’re read to read the story, just prepare a hanky. Here it is:

A Game for My Brother
It was a prickly hot Saturday. I was supposed to be at home, enjoying my weekend. Or in the mall, busy strolling around while cooling myself down. But here I was, standing inside the diamond, holding firmly but nervously the baseball bat in my hands, and hoping that in my third try, I could hit the baseball somehow, even if just hitting it.
I focused my attention at the pitcher—on his moves, on his hands and on the baseball he was holding. And as he prepared to throw the ball, I positioned the bat in the right angle and readied myself.
“What an unlucky day!” I yelled. Continue Reading..

I haven’t made any blog post for more than three days. I have been cogitating, contemplating and pondering. LOL. To be honest, I’ve just been busy with my new blog project. Yes, it is another wordpress baby but I would say that the concept is kind of unique. There are people blogging about tech gadgets, SEO, personal life, music, movie, adsense, current events, politics, religion. Name them all if you can. But I’ve never heard of a blog about a particular race and the world its members are moving in. Until I started it. It isn’t published and there’s not a post yet. I’m still playing with the looks. However, I hope before the day ends, search engines are all ready to crawl it.

I love photography. I’m not sure though if photography loves me. LOL
. I never had a formal education about it neither did I have any related training. I remember joining a photography contest before for school papers. And I lost. I joined again the next year and lost the second time around. It was just for fun and I knew that there was no harm in trying. But I believe you know how it feels like to be a LOSER. That’s it. I have written it. I admit I was a loser. How could I outstand others when what they had were pro cams armed with photography background and when what I had was digital cam that just digitally zoomed and had no good picture quality blahblahblah. So when Continue Reading..

Personal, Photography and Image Manipulation

A Wednesday. A day-off. My last Wednesday day-off before the schedule with a both co-agent and a teammate takes effect. I usually go to the mall on this Day. Nope, I’m not there for clothes; I’m there to shoplift. I mean, for grocery. Inside, I noticed that most mallers were wearing yellow. Maybe because it was their way of showing of being one with the other Filipinos who were mourning for the loss Cory Aquino who died recently. And I thought this would be a yellow day. Or so I did. First, let me define what image manipulation is. It is a fancy way of adding filters and effects on photos digitally. Ooops, don’t mistaken it with photo editing. The latter is just retouching an image for minor defects although this can also be done by an image manipulation program like Adobe Photoshop. If you don’t have the money to buy, you can use an open source program called GIMP which has most most of the features of Photoshop if not all and is available for download at gimp.org. So much for those.
If there’s something that can make image manipulation easier and instantly without having to pay or download and install a software, then I’ll go for it. Luckily, there is. I mean, there are. And they’re available online like photofunia.com. Earlier, I was browsing the photos of my friendster friends and as usual the shots are poses for a fashion magazine. I actually viewed the photos last year but to my desire of finding out how to make those magazine style photo effects, I viewed them again and then I found the word Continue Reading..

The Flutist tells the story of a boy who, at the start, didn’t like music that much but after hearing a a flute piece from a music opera he began to love music more than he ever thought of. This story does not concern himself alone but also of his younger brother and his family. Originally, its title was Debris and Dust which didn’t sound good to me so I changed it to The Flutist. I wrote this during my third year in our school paper The Anthonian. This was included (as always ) in the first release for that school year. If you’re soft-hearted, please have a hanky or tissue paper handy with you; otherwise just continue reading. Continue Reading..
